PACIFIC NORTHWEST CHAPTER OF THE AMERICAN BAMBOO SOCIETY The Pacific Northwest Chapter of the American Bamboo Society is located at 15211 - 91st Ave. SE in Snohomish, Washington. They are always interested in people who love bamboo. Both the ABS and the Pacific Northwest Chapter offer opportunities to appreciate its beauty and learn more about it. Whether you are an experienced grower or an aspiring enthusiast, the doors are open to you! As a member of the American Bamboo Society you receive the Annual Source List and regular newsletter with many informative articles as well as other interesting news about the Society. The Pacific Northwest Chapter also produces a quarterly magazine of 40 pages that comes loaded with bamboo articles from both American and international bamboo experts on landscaping uses, ornamental values, cultivating, containing, erosion control, musical bamboo instruments, building with bamboo, recipes for bamboo shoots, weekend digs, meetings an, scheduled events, sales, auctions, trades and much more! ABS membership only is available for $30.00. Pacific NW Chapter membership only is available for $15.00. Combined membership in the ABS and the Pacific NW Chapter is offered at a reduced rate of $37.50 per year and affords the most benefits. Canadian membership in the Pacific NW Chapter is $18.00 Canadian combined membership in the ABS and the Pacific NW Chapter is offered at a reduced rate of $45.00 per year and affords the most benefits.
